Collections allow our clients to 'tag' photos with custom collection names and use these to categorize photos within an album.
A good example here would be a fashion brand that uses collections to categorize photos in their campaigns by the collection, the season or even by gender.
This feature can help you create a gallery for each collection, or even allow users to filter the images by using tabs, just like in the following example:
The "ALL" tab displays all the images in the Campaign, while the tabs "AMERICAS" and "BEACH" only display those images that have been tagged with the aforementioned Collections.
Note: We recommend using our Product Types feature if you would like to segment your media by their product type/category instead.
To configure 'Collections', follow these steps:
STEP 1 - Configure the collections tags
In order to configure a collection tag in the management dashboard, in your campaign page click on Choose a collection on the right side of an approved photo and set a name for your collection in the Add new collection field. Click on the plus icon to save it.

STEP 2 - Configure the collection parameter in the widgets
There's two ways to approach this:
1. One widget per collection: This is the simplest method and the one that offers the most flexibility. This requires creating one widget per collection within the widget editor and then creating a page within your eCommerce platform where you can adapt the following example code to your needs: http://demo.photoslurp.com/examples/collections-multi.html
2. One widget for all collections: Use this method if you do not require the flexibility of changing the behaviour and style of the individual collection galleries. Create one widget within the widget editor, not tying it to a specific collection name, and then ensuring you enter your collection names into the Javascript as shown here: http://demo.photoslurp.com/examples/collections-single.html
