We highly recommend disabling all types of caching before installing any new modules into Magento.
1. Download
The first step is to download the latest version of the Photoslurp extension that corresponds to your Magento platform:
- Photoslurp for Magento 1
- Photoslurp for Magento 2
2. Install
Next, choose one of following installation methods:
- To Install the module using Magento Connect Manager (only applies to Magento 1) head to section 2.1.
- To upload and install the module using an FTP client (applies to Magento 1 and Magento 2). head to section 2.2.
2.1 Install using Magento Connect Manager (Magento 1 only)
Head to System -> MagentoConnect -> MagentoConnect Manager, in your Magento admin dashboard. Under 'Direct package field upload' press the button and select the extension file previously downloaded, then press 'Upload'.

Once this completes, you will get a procedure completed message, and a Refresh page button to see changes.

You can confirm that the extension is installed by checking the installed extensions list.

Finally, click on 'Return to Admin' button at the top of the page to get back to the admin dashboard.
2.2 Upload and install using an FTP client (Magento 1 or Magento 2)
Upload the compressed extension file to the root folder of your server using your preferred FTP client and unzip it thereafter. All files will be extracted inside the standard "app" directory used by Magento extensions.
