While installing the module a new page was automatically created in your store that contains an always up to date product feed in Google Shopping format. This is how we are able to sync with your products every 24 hours.
1. Click on the 'Product Feed' tab to find the URL of the newly created feed:
2. Copy the product feed URL and head to your Photoslurp dashboard to paste that into your catalog settings there.
Setting up a new catalog in Photoslurp
Before continuing we need to modify the URL that you received from the Photoslurp module slightly. Prepend the following, ensuring to change the default values as described below:
XX = 2 letter locale code (eg: en)
YYY = 3 letter currency code (eg: usd or eur)
ZZ = the URL to your Shopify product feed created by the Photoslurp module (eg: https://photoslurp.myshopify.com/pages/photoslurp-product-feed)
Important: Ensure that the locale and currency code you use here are the ones that are configured in your Shopify store.
The end result looks like this:
IMPORTANT: Make sure that your Shopify store is not closed! If it is closed and password protected, our servers will not be able to access your product feed.
Multilanguage setup
If you have multiple stores, each one with its own default language, you need to configure the Photoslurp app in all of them and provide the Photoslurp technical support team with the links to all the different product feeds. Our team will merge all the feeds into your Photoslurp catalog, and each feed will be assigned a language code to help the widget differentiate the correct language.
