We strongly recommend disabling all caching before installing or updating the Photoslurp for Magento extension.
1. Download
The first step is to download the latest version of the Photoslurp module that matches your Magento platform:
- Photoslurp for Magento 1
- Photoslurp for Magento 2
2. Installation
There are two ways to install the module depending on your Magento version:
- Magento 1: To install the module via Magento Connect Manager please refer to section 2.1.
- Magento 1 & 2: To upload and install the module using an FTP client please refer to section 2.2.
2.1 Install using Magento Connect Manager (Magento 1 only)
In the Magento administration dashboard, go to:
System -> MagentoConnect -> MagentoConnect Manager
Under 'Direct package file upload', click on the "Choose File" button, select the file you downloaded earlier and click on the 'Upload' button.
Extension upload
Once the upload is completed, you will see a confirmation message and a “Refresh page” button to view the changes.
Installation successful!
To confirm that the module has been installed correctly check the list of installed extensions:

Finally, click on the 'Return to Admin' button at the top of the page to get back to the admin dashboard.
2.2 Upload and install using an FTP client (Magento 1 or Magento 2)
Upload the compressed file to the root directory of your server using your preferred FTP client and then unzip it. All files will be extracted into the "app" directory used by Magento extensions.
