To create a campaign, head over to the 'Campaigns' section and click on 'Create new campaign':
Note: Remember to save your preferences by clicking on 'Save Settings' before leaving the page.
To configure a campaign, follow the next steps:
On 'Campaign details'
1. Enter a name and a short description of the campaign.
2. If you have not done it already*, link the campaign to a product catalogue enabling the 'Assign Product' button. If the catalog has been previously set up, it will appear in the drop-down menu.
*Note: Be careful! Changing the catalog will result in all existing product associations to be lost.
3. (Optional) Switch on 'Pto enable the AutoPilot functionality.
On 'Media collection'
1. 'Enable media collection' of content where your brand has been tagged and @mentioned on Instagram.
2. In order to enable the functionalities necessary for moderation, you will need to activate the 'Hold incoming photos in moderation queue' feature. The reason for this is to ensure that only content that is in line with the brands' identity is displayed in the widget - meaning that they need to be approved before they are sent to the widget.
Note:
3. Collecting hashtags and sources:
- List all the collecting hashtags that you would like to associate with this campaign.
Note: The hashtags need to be separated by commas and you should NOT add the Hash symbol ('#') to each word. - On 'Hashtag Sources' add Instagram.
4. Enable or disable 'own media collection', 'own Instagram stories collection', and 'tagged and mentioned media' to collect photos/videos generated by your own brand and UGC where your brand has been tagged and @mentioned on Instagram
Instagram stories will appear within a widget the same way a 'video' would appear. You will be able to differentiate 'story' content from normal videos by the Instagram story logo as you see below:
5. Enable the collection of media from your Brand's Account.
On 'Blacklists' (Advanced Feature)
1. 'Do not collect media of the users': You can block the collection of the content of certain users that is not relevant to your brand.
2. 'Do not include media with hashtag': You can block the collection of the content with certain hashtags that is not relevant to your brand.
On 'Media rights'
1. 'Enable media rights framework' to Get Media Rights functionality.
2. 'Whitelisted users for media rights'. (Advanced Feature) All content coming in from certain users (influencers/ambassadors) will be marked as 'Rights owned'.
Note: The usernames need to be separated by commas and you should NOT add the at symbol ('@') to each word.
3. 'Hashtags for auto grant right'. This is where you set the approval hashtag that content authors will need to use to grant you media rights. We recommend using #YesBrandName.
Note: It is important to ensure that this hashtag is specific to media rights and it is NOT being used for other marketing activities.
4. 'Default media rights request message'. Here you must configure the text that will be sent to users when requesting media rights. Here is a list of examples available - however, all of these HAVE to be vetted by your own legal counsel before being used.
Note: Remember to save your preferences by clicking on "Save Settings" before leaving the page.
